The car is a 2013 335is 6MT.
I am trying to flash back to stock from the latest "pump" BEF from BMS through the BimmerBoost 1.3.3.1 software with a BavTech cable. When I write my backup stock flash that I originally saved, the car won't start. The ECU goes into recovery mode. It seemed to write okay and take the full 17 or 18 minutes but the car won't start.
I have to flash the BEF to get my car to run and it runs okay like that. I tried the stock flash a second time and it still didn't work.
Do I have to do a force write with the stock flash or am I doing something wrong?
