Ive been searching a few different forums for a little while and I havent been able to quite find the answer Im looking for. Is there anyone around here that has been running port meth for a while with comparison results for carbon build up levels? From what Ive been able to find, port injection helps clean the valves but I personally meth is the only fueling additive/ additional fuel I really care to mess with. Im thinking of running an oil catch can along with one of the aftermarket intake manifolds designed for port fueling. Im not expecting this to be the end all cure but a preventative measure to prolong the time it takes between cleanings.
