N54: Heat wrap manifold, yes or no?

Went down a deep dark internet hole trying to figure out if you should or should not
use heat wrap on manifolds. Is there a single person with a single turbo setup that elected
not to wrap there manifold ? This is not a being cheap thing, I seen some very damaged manifolds
and all owners are saying it’s due to heat wrap. Tell me your opinion.
I just received my doc race kit today and it’s coated if that changes anything
