This question was asked by @AWSAWS elsewhere but I thought it might be interesting to see who actually is running a successful built motor here.
We hear people talk about them but it seems the vast majority are on the stock motor and many who try the built route end up quietly never bringing it up again or not being heard from.
If you've had any of the above done, could you share with us what it cost you to get it done, how long you've been running the car, what kind of boost or performance you've done on the modified block (quarter mile, half mile, draggy) and what your general setup is. Like which turbo\(s), fuelling setup - port injection, stage 3 lpfp etc?
Often it seems that people get their engines uprated and then dissappear. I get the impression it doesn't often end well.
