Thought this was an interesting word of warning:
Sad day for the N54. Installed port injection with little to no tune. My mistake completely. Blew smoke out like crazy and no start after a light 4K pull
Almost no compression in any cylinders. Put oil in and got 3 back.
Pulled engine and started the tear down. Everything was perfect until I pulled the first piston out.
She’s Cracked, as well as every other piston in the engine.
Going to rebuild her.
