2012 335is 17.5k mileage
installed JB4, DCI, CP w/ BOV, AA intercooler, DP's
car started a ran perfectly after the installation of the bolt ons.
drove it around casually to top it off with 93 octane and for light throttle test runs.
Set JB4 to stage 1 program and drove it for about 5 miles with only 1-2 full throttle blips rolling in 2nd and shifting to 3rd gear.
Selected stage 2 on the JB4 later in the evening and attempted a couple of WOT test pulls 2nd and 3rd gear.
car bucked at the top of third, and several minutes later illuminated the CEL. P0301 on the code scanner.
cleared code and drove casually and the CEL illuminated again, now with a distinct miss and sputter.
shut it down to check the engine bay and it really had a problem on restart, so much so that I contemplated calling a tow truck.
This is not at all what I was expecting from a few bolt ons and a light tune, espeaciLly after the car was performing flawlessly throughout the evening under average driving conditions.
I plan to dive into it a bit further this evening, although am a bit concerned of what's the root cause of this problem.
Car was bone stock unmodified prior to the upgrades listed above.
Not certain if it's a coil, plug or injector, although the exhaust did seem to be enriched with fuel last night when I limped it home.
