Total pressure drop for OEM high pressure intake piping (chargepipe, intercooler, etc)?

Guys,

For the N54, I was wondering if anyone has actually taken the entire factory system (all the way from the compressor outlet to the charge pipe) and flow tested it?

The purpose would be to try and assess the pressure drop across the system at maximum flow rate for a somewhat tuned car. (12psi at 7,000rpm, whatever that happens to be).

I would think that knowing the pressure drop at max flowrate would allow you a reasonable idea of the gains that could be obtained from changing plumbing and intercoolers.

The reason that I ask is that I am toying with the idea of re-routing the plumbing and using a water to air intercooler to reduce the pressure drop (which should aid the undersized turbos at high RPM), but am unsure if the gains would be worthwhile.
