First a little info then the problem, 2008 335i 52k miles with original plugs, cleaned the intake valves at 40k and flashed the vehicle to stage 1 OTS map at 40k. No issues until recently at 52k. I know i need spark plugs soon and I'm going to replace them, but i do not think that's causing my current problem..
Problem one
Randomly at cold start up i get a very rough stumbling idle and cylinder 2 missfire code, no other codes.
Problem 2
During high boost conditions(pedal to the floor) I'm going into limp mode getting codes 3100 boost deactivation and 30FE over boost condition. freeze frame data showed 17.45PSI at 5,504RPM.
Now I've read countless posts on these codes cause and peoples problems, i believe it is actually my cylinder 2 injector which is bad causing both these problems. I have BavTech and i was looking at things to log, they use strange names for everything but what i believe to be the fuel trims. (multiplicative mixture adaptation) One bank was at 3% which would be in range and the other bank was at 99% at idle and changed as i revved the engine toward a lower percent.
My Two Questions
Anyone have any input on what i should log with BavTech or had a similar problem.
Anyone work at a BMW dealer and willing to run my VIN to see if i have a open voluntary emissions recall on my injectors.
Im trying to avoid calling the dealer for a VIN report, since i work at a toyota dealer i know usually when customers call they get a writer and get incorrect recall information.
If anyone can help let me know, Thanks in advance
